Exsecutus blog now more global

Starting this month, I will be writing the Exsecutus Blog from a expanded global perspective…

Moving to London

Last month I moved from the US to the UK, as a expatriate software executive for Cmed Technology Ltd. Whilst my entire career has been spent working internationally across dozens of countries, I am now living full-time outside of the US as well. After thirty days, my writing style has shifted to use of the King’s English (in terms of spelling, grammar, etc.) Starting this month, I am applying this style to this blog as well (moving forward).

Broadening perspective

This blog is about execution of technology to create value. This will not change. However, I will spend more time on exploring how do this across a wider set of geographies, markets, cultures and regulatory authorities. In addition, I may highlight differences in focus that people across different places have regarding execution and adoption of technology.

Jim Haughwout (pronounced “how-it”) has held strategy, marketing, product, professional services, engineering and operations leadership positions across a broad range of industries: from space, defense and telecommunications to Internet and social media to biotechnology and life sciences. He is currently a vice president at Cmed Technology and a partner at Oulixeus. Haughwout writes the Lagrangian Points blog and is a contributor at Technorati, CustomerThink, Quora and Focus.
